Projects
CNZ owns and manages the biochar facilities, these will exclusively process sustainably sourced residual wood, ensuring that no deforestation takes place. In parallel, we integrate reforestation programs to regenerate the land. This closed-loop approach — a true circular carbon ecosystem — combines large-scale CO₂ removal with soil restoration and biodiversity enhancement.
To realize our mission at scale, CNZ manages 6,000 hectares of land in under indefinite operational rights. This long-term access provides both the stability and the capacity needed to deliver certified CO₂ removal and sustainable agricultural solutions.
This area forms the foundation for our phased development of biochar facilities, starting with 3 units in 2026 and scaling up to 10–12 units. The scale and permanence of this land base ensure reliable, measurable carbon removal at industrial level.
Managing 6,000 hectares of land enables CNZ not only to remove CO₂ at scale but also to create meaningful local benefits.
Our stewardship of this land generates jobs, supports soil regeneration, reforestation and ensures that communities share in the value of climate action.
